A Reuters/Ipsos poll of likely voters released on Thursday showed the Colorado gubernatorial race at a dead tie and U.S. Rep. Cory Gardner with a slight lead in the state’s U.S. Senate race.

The poll found Gov. John Hickenlooper, a Democrat, and Bob Beauprez, a Republican, tied with both having 46 percent of the vote.

Meanwhile, in the Senate race, Gardner held a 2-point lead over Democratic incumbent Sen. Mark Udall, slightly edging Udall 47 to 45 percent.

Pollsters say there is a statistical margin of error of 3.4 percentage points, leaving both races in a statistical tie.

The poll also found that 94% of Colorado likely voters think it’s important Congress address immigration next year. Further, when asked broadly about immigration policy outcomes, 59 percent of voters said all or most illegal immigrants should be deported.

A Quinnipiac gubernatorial race poll also released Thursday found similar results indicating voters in Colorado are solidifying their choice in the deadlocked governor’s race with Election Day two weeks away.

The Quinnipiac poll also found Hickenlooper and Beauprez in a statistical tire.

Quinnipiac is expected to release a Senate poll on Friday.
