Roots 4 Change 2019 - Application
The Roots 4 Change Leadership Retreat will take place  August 12-15, 2019 at  Sanctum Retreat Centre in Sundre Alberta. There is no fee to attend. Participants will be provided transportation from Edmonton, accommodations and food.  We will depart from Edmonton Monday, August 12th at 9 am and return Thursday, August 15th by 5 pm.

During this gathering, you will work with a team of other young people to talk about bias, racism, exclusion and marginalization in the education system; learn about rights as it relates to policing, justice system and education; create art; and, calls to action to facilitate education of peers, teachers and decision-makers on the realities of these issues.

We are looking for young leaders in Edmonton and northern Alberta to participate. We are looking for young people ages 14-20. Please submit this form to apply.  We will follow up shortly.
