Electronic cigarette seller loses California courtroom appeal. The guy in the center of a civil suit has dropped his bid to appeal a ruling that considered the selling of electronic cigarettes prohibited in Western Australia. In 2014, Vincent van Heerden owner of Heavenly Vapours, dropped a case brought against him by the WA Health Department that created them as the primary authority on earth to outlaw the selling of cigarette.
The company offered digital inhalers that vaporize a liquid into a mist for inhalation in addition to nicotine-free 'e-juice’. He was charged under the condition Tobacco Products Control Act, which forbids the selling of any food, toy or alternative merchandise that's not a tobacco product, however, is intended to resemble one.
The WA Court of Appeal dismissed his appeal, with Justice Robert Mazza stating no finding was created to help van Heerden's statement that the cigarette in issue was created as "tobacco harm reduction products”. Following the appeal, van Heerden stated he must cover prices of as much as $60,000.
