MAM is seeking patient and dedicated volunteers to help teach basic computer literacy to clients in our Employment Services Program. Our Computer Literacy Volunteers work with our diverse clients one on one in our computer lab and support them by helping them with a variety of topics, some of which include setting up email, online job search and application assistance, help with resumes, etc. At a minimum you should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
The commitment is for 3 hours a day, one day per week and on the same day each week. An initial 3-month commitment is required. Current openings include a Monday afternoon (1-4pm) opportunity or a Friday morning (9am-12noon) opportunity.
