Wear a costume, get a free doughnut at participating Krispy Kreme locations.

Wearing a Halloween costume can net you more than a fun-size Snickers or Reese's Peanut Butter Cup.

When you show up dressed as your favorite superhero, pirate or ninja at some Valley retailers and restaurants, you'll get deals on Friday, Oct. 31.

Here's a look:

  • Free doughnut.

Show up in costume and get a free doughnut at participating Krispy Kreme locations. Some restrictions may apply.

'Boorito' for $3.

Get a burrito, bowl, salad or an order of tacos for $3 when you show up in costume at Chipotle locations on Halloween evening. Proceeds of up to $1 million will benefit the Chipotle Cultivate Foundation. Limit one per person. Not valid on phone orders. Other restrictions may apply.

Free Lego sticker.

On Halloween, wear a costume to the Chandler Lego store and get a free Lego sticker.

Dress in costume, save on ballet tickets.

See Ballet Arizona's production of "Swan Lake" for less on Halloween. Ticketless patrons who dress up in costume can buy tickets in the special Halloween section at a discounted price of $35 (a savings of $34 or more.) While there, take part in the costume competition.

Free scary-face pancake for kids.

Kids age 12 or younger, whether dressed in costume or not, can get a free pancake to decorate at IHOP. Decorations include whipped topping for a mouth, two mini Oreos for eyes and candy corn for teeth.

Free trick-or-treating event.

Kids 12 or younger can participate in a variety of free events, including decorating a mini pumpkin and taking part in a costume parade, plus get a bag of treats at Bass Pro Shops.
