It’s not the first time that Nintendo-related items were promoted at Canada’s hockey games, and Super Mario Odyssey has been out for a few weeks now, but that hasn’t stopped Nintendo Canada from buying some advertising of Super Mario Odyssey at a Montreal Canadiens hockey game. It was discovered by a Twitter user who relayed the news, so we’ve included their tweet down below.

Yeah because it seems Nintendo hates the idea of free promotions done by fans these days. If you do a youtube video promoting Nintendo’s game even if you aren’t getting paid for your youtube videos, so help you if you didn’t get their expressed permission!
