GPN's Inaugural Plant Health Management Conference Delivered Education and Networking Opportunities

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL--(Marketwired - Oct 16, 2014) - Greenhouse Product News' (GPN) inaugural Plant Health Management Conference drew more than 70 attendees, representing approximately 40 different growing operations. The Conference took place at the Grand Rapids Hilton in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on October 7.

The conference was sponsored by American Hort, BASF, BioSafe Systems, BioWorks, Nufarm, SePRO and Syngenta. It drew management and production personnel from some of the United States' leading growers, such as Bell Nursery USA, C. Raker & Sons, Grand Flower Growers, Henry Mast Greenhouses Inc., Kalamazoo Specialty Plants, Floral Plant Growers and Wenke Greenhouses.

In addition to table-top exhibits of products and services, the conference featured educational seminars where attendees earned pesticide certification credits and learned from academics, and other leading horticulture experts, about the latest techniques for battling insects and diseases in the greenhouse, as well as plant growth management practices and production methods.

"Our stellar lineup of presenters and sponsors provided attending growers with solutions to some of today's toughest challenges when it comes to plant diseases, insects or growth management," says GPN Editorial Director Tim Hodson.

In a post-conference survey, 100% of attendees indicated they would recommend the 2015 conference to a colleague. For information on sponsoring or participating in GPN's 2015 events, contact GPN Publisher Bob Bellew at bbellew@sgcmail.com; 847.391.1056.
