Each year, SCALE hosts the Read.Write.Act Virtual Conference, which connects college students at campus-based literacy groups, program administrators, higher education faculty, and non-profit professionals from around the country with content specialists, community-based literacy organizations and other leaders in literacy who are committed to creating a more just society by engaging young people in literacy education.

In this year’s Read.Write.Act. Virtual Conference, we will celebrate SCALE’s 25th anniversary by looking at all aspects of student tutoring. Are you a student? Does your organization work with college-aged volunteers? If so, come and learn best practices, hear inspiring stories, and contribute your own experiences with literacy leaders across the United States.

This two day virtual conference includes 17 dynamic presentations from presenters all over the country, including tracks on tutoring K-12 learners, tutoring adult and ESL learners, program management, and social justice.

The full conference schedule is available here: http://readwriteact.org/events/read-write-act-conference/rwa-2014-schedule/
