Candice Accola didn't just have a wedding— she had a wedding parade!
The Vampire Diaries star, 27, married The Fray rocker Joe King, 34, in New Orleans on Saturday in front of family and friends, including several of her co-stars. After they tied the knot at the Montegut House, the bride and groom, the wedding party and the rest of the guests took to the streets to take part in a second line parade, a century-old tradition for the city's community in the city.
Accola, who wore a beautiful strapless Monique Lhuillier wedding gown, twirled a white, frilly parasol as she and her hubby followed a brass band down Bourbon Street in the French Quarter, with their friends following behind, as seen in a video posted on Instagram by Adam Isserlis, who happened to be in town on a visit.
"How to get married in New Orleans. #NOLA #Wedding," he said.
"Officially Mr. And Mrs. King! Best night ever!" Accola said on her Instagram page.
She and her husband also shared gorgeous photos of themselves at their wedding
"My wife, she makes me wanna dance," he said.
The two met in 2012 and Accola announced their engagement in May 2013.
