IWA Sweden Microplastics Conference 8th November 2017

Welcome to Malmö to discuss the state of the art on microplastics and how to reduce the emissions of microplastics to water and soils. New insights will be presented concerning identification of important sources, analytical methods, treatment technology and fate of microplastics in the environment. The program will present on-going research as well as actions that could be taken to protect the environment.

This is a meeting for Swedish and international professionals in public and private sector, NGOs and academia with an ambition to play a role in improving the local impact on the local and global problem of microplastics. We hope that we together will contribute to better knowledge of the causes and solutions to the problem.
