Lifeguard Training Courses
Williamson County Parks and Recreation will be offering multiple Blended Learning Lifeguard Training Courses this year at the Indoor Sports Complex in Brentwood, Franklin Recreation Complex, Fairview Recreation Center, and the Longview Recreation Center at Spring Hill. Certifications are through the American Red Cross, a nationally recognized certification program. For the classes students must be 15 years of age on or before the final day of the course. In-person registration is required. All participants must complete and pass all swim tests prior to starting the class. Time: 11:30 am-1:30pm
Ages: Minimum age of 8 and up (8-12 years old will need to be accompanied by an adult parent/guardian)
Cost: $25 per person ($5.00 discount for family members)

Join WCPR as we open the outdoor pool at the Longview Rec Center for our first Arctic Plunge, the coolest thing that you will do this winter. Whether you jump in or just dip your toes, you are sure to have a great time with all of the different activities we have planned.
 
Each plunger will receive a t-shirt, raffle ticket for prizes and all of the bragging rights associated with such a brave endeavor. Compete in the costume contest or bring non-perishables to be entered for a chance to win great prizes.

This event will benefit The Well Outreach in Spring Hill, so grab your friends and come and join in on the fun!
