American Red Cross Introduces the Clara Barton Women’s Society

American Red Cross Calls for Members in Women’s Philanthropic and Networking Group

Women have become an essential role in philanthropic programs. They become directly involved with charities close to their heart through donations and service. The American Red Cross is an organization that has seen boundless support from women since its creation by Clara Barton in 1881.

The American Red Cross wants to celebrate the dedication of women in the southern Nevada community by introducing the Clara Barton Women’s Society. This is an opportunity to engage with other local female leaders who find the value in the Red Cross Mission being carried out in our community. Women in the society show support with annual charitable gifts of $1,000 or more.

Membership in the Clara Barton Women’s Society is a great opportunity for women of Southern Nevada to become engaged in their community, as well as network with other leaders. Members will also have unprecedented access to various opportunities in the numerous Red Cross lines of service, and will be able to lead service projects and fundraisers.

The launch of the Clara Barton Women’s Society will be at Ricardo’s Restaurant in Las Vegas, NV from 6pm to 8pm on October 29, 2014. There is no cost for this introductory event.

Please RSVP by Friday, October 24 to Kirsten Avery at 702-369-3674 or kirsten.avery@redcross.org.

Ricardo’s Restaurant address is:

4930 W. Flamingo Rd.   Las Vegas, NV 89103
