It's almost Friday night, which means you're only a few hours away from a round of Malört shots. Local band Archie Powell & The Exports released "The Malort Song (A Waltz for Old Jeppson)" last night, and the video is basically the most Chicago thing ever—Hot Doug's Doug Sohn, Jeppson's incomparable owner Pat Gabelick and Malort tattoos all make an appearance.

Lyrics include: "The museum's expensive, the lake is too cold / And the Bean is for tourists and rubes / But our local spirit's a sight to behold / So let's flush our whole night down the tubes." Watch the whole thing below to get ready for tonight.
