Last week's No. 1 team in the AL.com SEC Power Poll has been replaced with the team that defeated it on Saturday, as Mississippi State ascends to the top spot this week.

As was the case last week with Auburn, the Bulldogs are the unanimous choice after Saturday's 38-23 over the Tigers in Starkville. They also claimed their first-ever No. 1 national ranking in the Associated Press poll with the victory.

Ole Miss, which followed up a 23-17 upset of Alabama with a 35-20 win at Texas A&M, is the only other undefeated team left in the SEC and was the No. 2 team on all 10 ballots in the Power Poll.

Auburn fell to No. 3, while Alabama held fast at No. 4 with Georgia No. 5.

Key games that could affect the poll this week have Alabama hosting Texas A&M, Georgia visiting Arkansas and Ole Miss welcoming Tennessee. Florida and Missouri can also settle their tie for 10th in the rankings, as the Gators and Tigers meet Saturday in Gainesville.

The full power poll is below, with point totals and first-place votes in parentheses. Fourteen points were awarded for first-place votes, 13 for second, 12 for third, and so on. The voters are: Michael Casagrande, Drew Champlin, Joel A. Erickson, Andrew Gribble, Mike Herndon, Roy S. Johnson, Brandon Marcello, Kevin Scarbinsky, Wesley Sinor and Creg Stephenson.
