Saskatoon Public Schools has an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting the school-day experience of students with special learning needs.

Substitute educational assistant positions within Saskatoon Public Schools are well suited to individuals who are looking for opportunities to support the delivery of educational programming and work closely with students to meet their behavioural, medical and personal care needs. Educational assistants play a key role in helping students reach their maximum potential and level of independence.

Applicants require a Grade 12 or equivalent standing. The successful completion of one year of post-secondary education in a field related to education, childcare or health is preferred, however, a combination of education and/or experience will be considered. Previous experience working or volunteering with students with special needs would be considered an asset.

Applicants who are fluent in signed English and/or braille are encouraged to apply. Applicants with varying availability are encouraged to apply.

Persons of Indigenous ancestry are encouraged to apply as we strive to develop a representative workforce.
