The day after many high school football games were rained out, the conditions at historic Legion Field couldn't be better for the Blazers' game against Conference USA foe North Texas.
Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m.
The Blazers (3-2, 1-1) are coming off a thrilling 42-39 win on the road against Western Kentucky while the Mean Green (2-3, 0-1) fell 49-24 at Indiana in its last outing.

*UAB running back D.J. Vinson scores from four yards out to cap a masterful 16-play, 74-yard drive that chewed up 4:41 off the clock. Ty Long adds the extra point to give the Blazers the lead with 12:54 to play before the half.

*UAB defense scores again. Blazers cornerback Lamarcus Farmer picks off UNT quarterback Dajon Williams and returns it 22 yards for a score. Ty Long's extra point attempt is successful.

*UAB gets on the board first with a 40-yard scoop and score by defensive tackle Jontavious Morris with 6:49 to play in the quarter. Linenebacker Harris Gaston, who pressured UNT quarterback Dajon Williams, forced the fumble on the play and Ty Long added the point after attempt.
*Second-string UNT cornerback Zac Whitfield will not be in action today. The 5-foot-9, 190-pounder has recorded four tackles in five games this season.
