Join the Office of Sustainability & Energy for the Student Sustainability Leaders Forum on Wednesday, September 17, from 6:00-8:00 pm in 60 Barrows. Come learn about campus resources and what the Office of Sustainability & Energy can do for your student group and network with the 30+ other environmental groups to make a sustainable Berkeley. Read more about this event by clicking here.
The SERC Career Series continues this Thursday 9/18 from 12-1pm at the Career Center with NOURISH: a networking lunch with Lucid Design Group. Nourish your career development as you nourish with lunch! Bring your lunch and join us for a networking round table with staff from Lucid Design Group. Lucid pioneers behavioral efficiency and occupant engagement technology in commercial buildings. Dessert will be provided!
Join us on an exciting, interactive, and educational journey that includes a partial screening of the documentary Preserving Paradise, which provides an inside look at the people fighting to protect our planet’s remaining tropical rain forests. Learn about the effects of palm oil with an interactive activity post-screening, and participate in a discussion about the methods for and difficulties of communicating environmental issues while providing your feedback on the documentary, which is still in production. Director Paul Stoutenburgh of Earth Soul Productions will also host a panel of rainforest experts to field any and all questions.
A food break will take place outside. Facebook invite here.
