      3 ½ of 5 starsJennifer Johnston is a Mystic, part of a deadly group of supernatural that are considered the boogie men to the other races. Mates, Jackson Dawls and Taylor Durham are the betas of their wolf pack. Imagine their surprise when they discover they have an additional mate, of a species they were told to stay away from since childhood. Strange things are happening, and Jennifer is being stalked. Wondering whether her mates will accept and help her or leave her to fend for herself.I wasn’t sure if I was going to like Dark Indiscretions after starting the book. I’m glad I kept reading because it is an interesting story the further along you get. I think I was just disturbed by Jennifer’s family in the beginning of the novel. That being said, I feel the initial story is also very necessary for the rest of the book.Dark Indiscretions demonstrates valuable life lessons, like don’t always believe what you hear. Additionally, individuals should be judged for themselves and not their race. I really enjoyed that aspect of the novel.I would recommend this book to lovers of paranormal romance. It is a quick read that is exciting throughout.ARC provided in exchange for an honest review.
