Trending: Dramatic Window Designs

We're fortunate to work with some of the most progressive architects, builders and designers. And this talented group always pushes beyond traditional design.

Here are a few trends that have caught our eye. From breathtaking window walls, smart window placement, windows instead of cabinets to black on black windows, these dramatic designs will have you rethinking how windows can enhance your space.

Window Walls

Absolutely breathtaking. (Do we need to say more?)

Our Hybrid System allows architects to design very large window openings to replicate the look of a window wall - without compromising energy performance.

Windows Up High

When designing a home, it's difficult to have both: lots of wall space and lots of windows. Often, we must trade one for the other. However, that doesn't always have to be the case.

Installed high on a wall, windows can be used for natural light without forfeiting wall space or privacy. It's an excellent design solution for walls on the side of a home, in bedrooms where privacy is a concern or other spaces where wall space is needed.

Windows Instead of Cabinets

Kitchens are now brighter and less "bulky" thanks to this trend: windows are replacing upper cabinets.

Black on Black

We've noticed a huge increase in window-door packages finished with a black interior. We love this sophisticated look!
