Last day for ticket sales - online bookings close midday Saturday 27th September.
Limited "cash only" sales on door and tickets will be $25.
Doors open 7pm - get there early and receive a complimentary (non-alcoholic) drink.
Parking will be at a premium on the night, so plan to get there for when the doors open at 7pm. Nearest parking is Civic Square (parking under Central Library entrance off Harris Street) and the Michael Fowler Centre.
There will be panel discussion following the screening which we hope will inspire action as we are holding this event to raise awareness about, and raise funds for, the Birth Centre for Wellington project.
"Microbirth" is a new feature-length documentary looking at birth in a whole new way; through the lens of a microscope. Investigating the latest scientific research, the film reveals how we give birth impacts the lifelong health of our children and potentially could even affect the future of humanity - http://microbirth.com.
The world premiere of Microbirth was the 20th September 2014, but as you will know the NZ Government has announced the NZ Elections will be held on that date, so we felt it best to steer clear of that weekend and go for the week later, so please join us.
“Microbirth” running time is approx 70 minutes and then there will be a discussion panel and brief auction to raise funds for the Birth Centre.
