The Live Be Yoga Tour met 15-year-old yoga teacher Lexi Hidalgo at the Buddha Lounge in Delray Beach, Florida, where she told us how she fell in love with yoga and why she decided to get her certification at age 13.
“When I was 13, I got my certification here with YogaFox at the Buddha Lounge. I started doing yoga the summer of 2013 with my mom, and I fell in love with the physical and mental … the way I felt after I would do a yoga class. I decided to become a yoga teacher to inspire people the same way that I was inspired.”
In this video, Lexi reveals how it felt to go through a teacher training at only 13, and how her students react to (and ultimately embrace) her age.
