Tony Park’s Italian bakery is known for its bomboloni
Come with us on a Restauratour of Angelina Bakery in New York City.
Angelina was founded by Tony Park, an Italian baker of Korean descent who wanted to bring his vision of an Italian bakery to midtown Manhattan.
Angelina has an expansive menu but is known for its bomboloni, or filled Italian donuts. We tried the Chantilly cream, Nutella, pistachio, and raspberry jam flavors.
Angelina also offers a wide variety of other Italian-inspired pastries, savory options including pizza and sandwiches, and beverages including coffee.
Founded in Hell’s Kitchen, Angelina Bakery is up to eight locations in New York City and one in New Jersey, which just opened in Fort Lee last week with three days of soft-opening activities.
This location in Herald Square was busy at the counter, but had plenty of quiet places to sit on a weekday at lunchtime.
