Child HIV Fund

About Child HIV Fund

Over two-thirds of the children currently living in our Homes of Hope have come to us after having been diagnosed with HIV/AIDS. It is common for a child to be born with HIV/AIDS when one or both parents have tested positive. These children require extra care that others don't, such as antiretroviral therapy (ART) medication, health monitoring, and specialized diets, all of which are administered by nurses on staff in each of the 16 homes. While child sponsorship covers the cost of the children's care, there are children who are not yet sponsored. By giving a gift of $20, you cover the extra funding needed for the HIV/AIDS medical care of an unsponsored child and provide our nurses with a salary.
