Omarosa: Melania Trump is sometimes ‘repulsed’ by her husband

Melania Trump Address at the 2020 Republican National Convention

I don’t want to jinx anything, but I sincerely hope these are the final days of so-called “Trump insiders” writing books. If we get these ghastly people out of the White House, I truly hope that no publishing house offers any money or contract to any of these a–holes for their “memoirs.” I doubt my wish will come true though. Considering the cottage book industry which has sprung up around the Trumps, my guess is that they’ll all be writing books. In the meantime, Omarosa Manigault Newman is promoting her book, Unhinged, overseas. She said words about the Trumps’ marriage.

A former political aide to President Donald Trump has said his wife Melania is sometimes ‘repulsed’ by her husband. Omarosa Manigault Newman, 46, met the President in 2004 after appearing on The Apprentice, and in January 2017 became Assistant to the President and Director of Communications for the Office of Public Liaison.

She has since written a tell-all book, Unhinged, providing an insider’s of the Trump White House, which she claims the President and his legal team has tried to stop being published. Appearing on Lorraine today, she said what she has observed in the 17 years she’s known the couple would ‘make your head spin’ – and that Melania, 50, and her husband have a ‘very strange’ marriage where they ‘sometimes like each other’.

‘It’s a very strange marriage,’ said Omarosa. ‘I’m very cautious to comment on the dynamics of a marriage because you never know what goes on behind closed doors. But I have known this couple since they were dating, they got married a year after The Apprentice aired. What I have observed in the last 17 years would make your head spin. Sometimes they like each other but sometimes she is repulsed by him.’

Omarosa claimed that the First Lady’s feelings for her husband were made clear last week when she appeared to pull her hand away from her husband after the final presidential debate.

[From The Daily Mail]

In the early days of this hellscape, I’ll admit to toying with the idea that Melania was somehow trapped and that she had and has no authority or power in her marriage, or that she’s possibly a victim of her husband too. But f–k that. I’m sure Melania IS repulsed by him. We all are. But she made her bed. She’s just as racist, deplorable and nasty as him. It actually brings me joy to think of Melania gagging at the thought of sharing a bed with him or spending any time with him. And yes, I do believe she’s out of this marriage once he (hopefully) loses.

    I am repulsed by Melania

    • Esmom says:

I know, right? Seeing them posed in front of the White House, like so many First Couples before them throughout our country’s history, is truly surreal, a joke, a nightmare. As if they have even a shred of interest on public service. They have stained the office maybe permanently.

      • Darla says:

Can you imagine how hard she’s going to troll with the WH Christmas decorations this year? I bet she has been binging halloween horror movies for ideas.

If (WHEN) he loses, will she even bother with that? Or will it be, no tree in Mudville this year.

      • Lightpurple says:

@Darla, this year’s theme is f***ing Christmas featuring lots of piles of clean coal and little voodoo dolls of Ivanka hanging on blackened dead trees

      • CooCoo Catchoo says:

@Lightpurple, your comment cracked me UP!

      • Darla says:

        LMAO @lightpurple

      • Babz says:

@Lightpurple, you win the Internet today!! I can picture those exact decorations!

      • paranormalgirl says:

@lightpurple: I’m in love with this comment.

      • Anne Call says:

Hoping he loses and flees to mar al lago to never be seen again on the White House grounds. Don’t care where she goes, but good riddance to both of them- the grifter and the sociopath.

    • josephine says:

Exactly my thought. I am repulsed by all of these people who are giving evil a helping hand. Anyone who stands by him is aiding his agenda. Anyone who doesn’t speak out is aiding his agenda of white power, cruelty, bigotry. We have to stop giving people a pass for staying silent. She’s part of the problem. They’re all part of the problem, including people who vote for him and those who don’t vote at all.

Staying “neutral” = aiding the oppressor and she’s far from even neutral.

    • shanaynay says:

I’m repulsed by the whole family (Trumps and Kushners) alike

    • Nana says:

@Darla, I imagine her Christmas decorations will be ripped straight from Absolutely Fabulous ‘minimalist’ scene 🙂 (see Absolutely Fabulous Betina &Max early years on youtube…)

    • Agirlandherdog says:

I am also repulsed by the people who laude her as “what a First Lady should be.”

      • Trillion says:

I wish the “fuck Christmas” tape had gotten more coverage. It barely made a ripple. If Michelle Obama had said that 12 years ago, we’d STILL be hearing about it.

  2. albalilium says:

    Sometimes?

    • Ni says:

Only during all her waking hours and in her nightmares. Otherwise, she’s pretty neutral on him.

    • (TheOG) Jan90067 says:

      I was gonna say!!!!

Gotta wonder though… perhaps they’ll STAY married, in name only. With his financials, all assets may be frozen with all the new info about his taxes coming out, so unless BIG $$$$$ have been squirrelled away in offshore accounts buried under layers of LLCs, she may not get that payout. If she stays married, she has use of all the marital properties until they are sold off for debt. Also, it’ll be interesting to see if SHE is held liable for any of his debt, if they filed as a married couple.

Also, he‘ll be busy with lawyers for a long time; probably won’t be around much.

      But either way…. I don’t care….do you?

      • Agirlandherdog says:

He has to have some money stashed somewhere. All those lawyers he’s gonna need know he has a bad habit of not paying people after they’ve done work for him. Those retainers are going to be in the high six figures…

    • Traveler says:

You beat me to this comment!

    • coffee_coffee_coffee says:

      this wins! 🙂

  3. Alexandria says:

Well I am repulsed by both. Everytime.

  4. Elizabeth Regina says:

Sounds like a business arrangement to me. She allegedly only appears with him when she gets paid according to some book out there. PDAs are obviously extra.

  5. SJ Knows says:

    Aren’t we all?

  6. Seraphina says:

I have dated some very rich men when I was younger and I met some very powerful men, married and older. The rich single ones gave off a vibe that I didn’t like and the powerful ones, you could tell loved the cat and mouse game and the thrill of having what they want. I would not say I had better judgement or more self worth than Melania, I just knew dealing with a douche bag for years was not for me. To each their own, BUT I will not feel bad for her. She made she choice and now this is what she reaps. As the saying goes, the Devil always gets his due.

  7. VS says:

She is just as bad as he is………..she is so hypocritical that he hurts to listen to her! I couldn’t care less about what happens to this dreadful woman! I just want her gone with her husband; she can do whatever she wants after that, who cares?

  8. Nanny to the Rescue says:

She’s not leaving until Barron is 21. She wouldn’t dare to lose him. That’s her only endearing quality.

But I’m sure she’s mainly just happy her husband does business and sleeps arround – less shit for her to deal with.

    • phaedra says:

It should be endearing that she loves her child, but the “I really don’t care do u” erased her mom cred. No mother could visit orphans that her husband created and kept in cages and feel nothing. But she did. Or professed to, on her stupid jacket.

    • BnLurkN4eva says:

Endearing, really? Even serial murderers are capable of loving their kids, wouldn’t call it endearing. It shows she’s human and that’s all I can say for that one.

      • Nanny to the Rescue says:

I would agree if I didn’t also believe that her husband, who is human too, couldn’t care less about Barron.

Not all parents love or care for their kids. Melania, I believe, sincerely does. And that’s the one good thing I can say about her, even if on a global scale it’s not that special.

      • whatWHAT? says:

and I’m sure the parents of the kids in the cages sincerely love their kids, too.

and yet she went to see them making her feelings clear on that stupid jacket.

so, no, she doesn’t get a cookie for loving her son which is something a mother IS SUPPOSED TO DO. don’t give people credit for something that is expected.

      • elle says:

We’re just assuming she loves her son. She may just be protective of her golden egg.

    • Tiffany says:

If you think Casino is gonna fight her on custody, I got a island to sell you in Idaho.

      • Nanny to the Rescue says:

He’ll fight her. Out of spite, not any love for Barron.

He’ll never allow her to leave unscratched if it’s her decision to go, not his. Now if he finds a younger model, then she can take her son.

      • liz says:

Custody, finances and her exit plan were set up when he won the election and she refused to move to DC for months. Publicly, she stayed in NYC so Barron could finish the school year. Privately, it was so she had leverage to renegotiate her pre-nup. There is nothing to fight over anymore – it’s all been hammered out already.

      • MsIam says:

@Nancy, he let Marla take Tiffany on her merry way so I don’t see him putting up a fuss about Barron either. If Trump is still around when Barron is an adult he may show some interest in him then. Maybe.

    • Amelie says:

Does she have to wait that long? Custody usually stops being an issue once a kid turns 18. Barron is 14 now, so if she truly does feel the need to wait that long, she has 4 more years.

Trump didn’t fight Marla who took Tiffany and raised her in CA. He supposedly asked Marla to get an abortion when she got pregnant. He may have cared less because she was a girl (sad to say) but I really don’t think he’d fight Melania for custody.

      • Nanny to the Rescue says:

The difference is that Trump basicly dumped Marla (he didn’t even want to marry her). He was glad to be rid of her. I wrote a bit further up, that if he is the one dumping Melania, she gets Barron, like Marla got to keep Tiffany.

But if Melania decides to leave herself, while he wants her to stay, he’s not letting her go so easily. Remember, this man has an ego the size of Mt Everset and he’s vindictive. Not in a “murder her” kind of way, but he’d hit her where it would hurt most: Barron.

      • whatWHAT? says:

but he didn’t fight Ivana for custody of original three evil spawn. his attitude is “they’re not interesting at that age, I’m not interested in having a relationship with them until they’re of working age.” to boot, Barron is reaching an age where a court would let him decide for himself who he lives with, parental desires be damned.

    • BecauseOfCourse says:

Trump has never wanted custody of any of his children. He couldn’t care less where Barron is – he’s publicly referred to him as “her son.”

      • GamerGirl says:

Exactly. Ivana has said many times that he wasn’t interested in the kids until they were adults. The women raise the kids. I often wonder if he REMEMBERS he had a son with Melania.

    • BeanieBean says:

That’s not endearing. It’s basic humanity.

  9. Edna says:

Worst First Lady during the modern era. Has accomplished nothing.

    • Stacy Dresden says:

That her platform is bullying is especially pathetic considering Trump bullies even the disabled

      • (TheOG) Jan90067 says:

As if she’s not trolled US… let’s not forget about her tampon Xmas trees, and f*ck Xmas tapes. And her US entry: ON AN “EINSTEIN” VISA…. The ONLY thing this woman excels in is Gold-digging. She’s on an Olympic level at that.

  10. phaedra says:

No woman has ever slept with him for free. And deep down, he knows it

    • ME says:

It’s obvious his money is what attracts these women. He knows it, we know it, and the women he’s been with know it. I have no sympathy for any of them.

  11. LaUnicaAngelina says:

Welp, we are always repulsed. 🤷🏽‍♀️

  12. wildwaffles says:

Only sometimes? Then I guess he picked a winner b/c most women I know are repulsed by him all the time. Those two deserve each other, she’s awful just like him.

  13. Becks1 says:

Of course she is repulsed by him. And I’m sure their marriage will end as soon as he’s out of the WH. But like others have said, I am still repulsed by HER.

  14. Ange says:

When you marry Jabba the Hutt don’t be surprised that you end up covered in slime.

  15. Ella says:

The only part of this headline I don’t believe is “sometimes.”

  16. Sara says:

I doubt these two have shared a bed or living quarters for a while now. There are too many instances of her making repulsed faces, pulling away from him and even shading him (her platform is anti-bullying??). She’s the most absentee First Lady I’ve ever seen in my lifetime and the first one in my own life was Nancy Reagan. But she toes the Trump line so she can live lavishly.
I’m so intrigued by exactly what she knew about his finances before all of this recent information has come out about massive debt and failing businesses. I’m sure she was counting on millions and nice homes in the divorce settlement, but it’s possible he’s going to prison and she’ll be left with nothing from him.
I don’t think there’s a doubt in anyone’s mind that she’ll leave once he’s out of office, which is hopefully this coming January. She’ll have no problem finding another wealthy husband to live off of. Of this I’m very confident.

    • (TheOG) Jan90067 says:

I’m thinking that when she renegotiated the pre-nup before coming to Washington, a nice, healthy offshore account was set up somewhere. And for each display of First-Ladying, another deposit is made. She probably also included a deed to a separate property in HER PARENT’S name (to avoid it from being seized if he goes down), has “title” to Barron until he’s 18 (or older, if he indeed is on the autism spectrum).

I wouldn’t worry about her. Women like her know how to land on their feet (or backs). Gold-digger extraordinaire.

    • LillyfromLilooet says:

Before they married one of them talked about how many children they were going have. He is so seriously very physically repulsive…

  17. MellyPelly says:

I actually admire her in-marriage f-u attitude to her hubby. Obviously an adult relationship. Much more edifying than the supporting wife doormat optic so many previous flotus have to display.

    • Jaded says:

Oh, so you think Michelle Obama was a doormat? I wouldn’t characterize their relationship as adult. She’s never been anything but a lazy trophy wife with a sleazy past, and he’s a known sexual predator, racist and criminal.

      • Rhys says:

I doubt she meant Obama – no one is a doormat in that marriage. Jackie Kennedy, on the other hand, put up with a lot of humiliation and kept her subservient role of a rich wife.

      • Jaded says:

@Rhys – I agree, many first wives were your typical “housewife, tea-party throwing” ladies but that was during an era where women were mostly confined to roles like that. Even the Jackie Kennedys and Mamie Eishowers actually “did” stuff like redecorating a moribund White House and entertaining an unprecedented number of heads of state and leaders of foreign governments. Melanoma….not so much and what little she does she clearly resents.

    • atorontogal says:

      @Jaded….exactly!!

  18. Teebee says:

I think more telling is that of all the gold she could dig, she ended up with Trump?

Trump has ALWAYS been a lesser than even amongst the rich. His gold always a shade of brass. She either knew he was the best she could get, so even she has settled for a downgrade sugar daddy. Or she’s kind of an idiot and is now saddled with a notoriety even she didn’t sign up for. She’s full of pride and arrogance too, so her public drubbing absolutely sticks in her craw.

And that’s why tell all books need to cascade down upon them in a waterfall. No matter how tacky and disingenuous these books may be, that they will continually humiliate this family that CARES more about their reputation and brand than each other, is all the comfort I need. I won’t read a single one, but you know each is a cut of a thousand cuts to their fragile egos.

  19. Diane says:

    “Sometimes”?

  20. LightPurple says:

Melania is using her government twitter account this morning for open political attacks against Biden. This is an illegal use of a government account and our tax dollars. She and her staff are repulsive, treasonous scum.

    • Sara says:

No one actually listens to “f–cking Christmas stuff” Melania. Looking forward to Dr. Jill as the First Lady.

  21. Jaded says:

Last night I watched an amazing documentary on Eleanor Roosevelt. Now there was a first lady who not only dealt with her husband’s near death and paralysis from polio, but then found out about FDR’s mistress who was her secretary. What did Eleanor do? She rolled up her shirt sleeves and went to work on everything from women’s and children’s rights to racial equality. She traveled the country to help organize Offices of Civilian Defense during WWII, and her “My Day” columns were filled with information about efforts to prepare for the war on the home front, rallying citizens to do their part by volunteering for organizations like the Red Cross. She went to England to observe the women’s role in the war effort and visit American servicemen. She visited clothing distribution centers, military and naval bases, spent time with hundreds of wounded servicemen and offered to write to their families when she returned home. She collected hundreds of names and followed through on her promise. Post-war she served as the first Chairperson of the Commission on Human Rights and played an instrumental role in drafting the first Universal Declaration of Human Rights. In 1968, she was posthumously awarded the United Nations Human Rights Prize.

Compare that to Melania “I don’t give a f*ck about Christmas” Trump. Well I don’t give a f*ck about Melania, she repulses me.

    • Sarah says:

I read an article about her a couple of years ago and it was truly fascinating, what a woman.

    • Traveler says:

Eleanor Roosevelt was a remarkable woman all around. I have the greatest respect for her.
Hers was the first name that came to my mind in rebuttal to MellyPelly’s comment above (as well as yours being Michelle Obama).

  22. Suz says:

My favorite part will be when she rats out the Trumps to SDNY. If she’s getting nothing from Broke and in Debt Don, what has she to lose? Whatever dirt she has on her arch-nemesis Ivanka is going to be good.

  23. Aimee says:

I hope when they are finally gone that all record of them is erased. No White House portraits, no Presidential Library (ha!), nothing. Completely expunged from our history.

  24. Shazze says:

    I don’t get it – only sometimes??

  25. Julia K. says:

She’ll stay till the bitter end. He won’t live long. She made a business decision long ago. Better to be the widow of a former president than a hated and shunned divorcee.

  26. Mabs A'Mabbin says:

I couldn’t care less about this shallow piece of work. Regardless how she feels about about Nacho, she has been First Lady. She has been calling the White House home. If she had any redeeming qualities, whatsoever, she was situated in the perfect place to get shit done.

  27. Liz version 700 says:

I am repulsed by everyone connected to this mess. Especially ones whose last name is Trump. Exception for Mary Trump.

  28. J ferber says:

Julia K., Just wondering why you say trump will die soon. I’m hoping you know something that I don’t. I’m not proud to say that, but it’s what I feel.

    • Julia K. says:

Not soon, but his life expectancy not good. He is 74, overweight, no exercise, bad diet, tons of stress and I would suspect perhaps some cardiovascular disease is lurking close by. Put all those together, including family history, and it doesn’t look good for him.

  29. NotSoSocialButterfly says:

I’m repulsed by both of these shameless grifters, 24/7/365.

  30. Mina_Esq says:

100% agree on the insider book deals. I’ve refused to buy any of them, even Bolton’s. I’ve only purchased both of Woodward’s and Jim Acosta’s for the correspondent perspective.

  31. Nightsky says:

If it’s any consolation Melania, we find both you and your scumbag husband to be completely repulsive.

  32. Teri says:

Guess what I’ve been married almost 27 years and at times I feel the same darn way about my husband!

  33. The Recluse says:

According to her friend who published a book about how Melania and the White House stabbed her in the back, Melania knows precisely who she married and what he is like and she shrugs it off. She is just like her husband: as long as she gets what she wants, everything is fine. Although I expect it does tick her off when her husband’s many infidelities/assaults come to light because she is supposed to be the alpha female.

  34. J ferber says:

Julia K., Thank you. You have helped me.
