A Toluca Lake waterfront home once owned by Roy E. Disney, a longtime executive at his uncle Walt Disney’s company, has sold for $5.174 million.

According to the listing, the house also has ties to actor Boris Karloff of “Frankstein” fame and film composer Erich Wolfgang Korngold, who won an Oscar for his score to “The Adventures of Robin Hood” in 1939.

The two-story, three-bedroom Mediterranean-style house built in 1933 was recently updated. Its 2,443 square feet of living space includes a master suite with a large walk-in closet, living room with wood-beamed ceilings and a grand fireplace, and an elevator.

A sunroom offers views of the pool and lake.

Multiple outdoor entertaining areas include a patio with a fireplace, dining area with a built-in barbecue and a lakefront lounging deck.

An electric Duffy boat is moored at the dock.

Back and front yards have lush landscaping. Mature olive trees shade the front gated and walled courtyard.

Property records show Roy E. Disney bought the house in 2006 for $3.5 million. After his death in December 2009 at age 79, his second wife, Leslie DeMeuse Disney, took ownership of the property.

The house went on the market in for $4.995 million. It sold Sept. 3.

Jennifer Hughes of Bulldog Realtors handled both sides of the deal.
