People are getting excited about the eclipse on Monday, August 21! We are too! Did you know some of our libraries are hosting Eclipse Viewing Parties on that day too?
On the day of the eclipse, some of our libraries are hosting Eclipse Viewing Parties where people of all ages can learn about the science behind eclipses and view the eclipse with a pair of solar viewing glasses (free while supplies last).
The Eclipse Viewing Parties will be from 2 pm – 3:30 pm at the following libraries:
Eclipse glasses will be available at all Henrico Library locations in limited quantities on August 21, beginning at 1:30 pm.
This program is offered as part of the NASA@ My Library initiative to engage public audiences nationwide in informal and lifelong learning with the excitement of NASA exploration and discovery.
