VANCOUVER – A prolific offender is facing new charges in connection with recent flashing incidents at a popular Nanaimo beach park.

Mark Nieuwejaar has now been charged with three counts of committing an indecent act in public. Seven years ago he was acquitted of indecent exposure.
The 53-year-old has been convicted eight time for indecent acts and in 1985 he was convicted of two counts of sexual assault.
