Women’s Soccer: Lady Wildcats Down Undefeated Keuka 1-0

Box Score WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – With the help of a brilliant goal from sophomore Lindsey Bradshaw (Bristow, Va.) and 12 saves from sophomore Colleen Bowes (Wayne), the Pennsylvania College of Technology women's soccer team stunned Keuka College 1-0 Saturday.  The Wolfpack came into the game undefeated in the North Eastern Athletic Conference and outshot Penn College 26-9.  With the win, the Lady Wildcats improve to 3-5 overall and 2-3 in the NEAC while Keuka is now 4-3 and 4-1 respectively.

The Wolfpack outshot Penn College 11-9 in the first half, but Bradshaw put the team on the board in the 42nd crossing a ball past keeper Kenna Kosinki into the upper 90.  Freshman Morgan Lutz (Milroy) recorded the assist on the goal.

It was all hands on deck in the second, as Keuka was strong in possession.  The Lady Wildcat defense shut down all their attempts though as Bowes recorded seven saves in the period.  Keuka totaled 15 shots in the half.

Next up, Penn College travels to Wells College on Sunday, Sept. 21 for a 12 p.m. match.
