Path and signature....

After all, I can show you the path, but it is down to you, whether you wish to put your foot forward and take that first step.....

The opening statement above may make you wonder where I am going but it is simple and relates from one to another - the question is how open are you to making your own decisions without but swayed by the gossip and scare stories from your friends and the media?

With the recent release from Apple - Tuesday 9th September 2014 Presentation - a clear foundation has been released via them with the iPhone6 and Watch which is clearly leading you to having to really think of how you want to open yourself up - is it health, spiritual, intrusion or beneficial? Just one of those four words or maybe more may make you decide on the path you take...

With Health, the ability to be recording your details all the time you are wearing the Watch and via a Pillow beacon, all your details can be transferred to your Doctor in real time to make sure you are always being looked after. Is this scary? Now, just think how much this will improve not only your health but also be a major benefit to your local Health Provider.......... all Apple have done is taken what has been possible for years and brought it to the attention of mainstream Public.....

The ability of transferring data, being analysed and only if something is wrong would the Health Provider contact you to advise you if a cold is on the way or something more serious.....

With IoT starting to make more and more of an appearance within our lives, the release of Wearable Technology and if with this, you add in 3D Printing - coupled with the above, technology can be a real positive leap forward in our lives but can you open your mind to it?

There are so many so-called "Reporters" who are writing constantly about the negative aspects of technology such as the damage Bluetooth earpieces can do, Wearable Devices, Google Glass, etc, etc - this is causing more damage and putting so many scare stories and doubt into peoples' mind. But why? Is it because these "Reporters" just have no background or understanding of they are writing about?

This reminds myself of many years ago when I was at ntl:business working in the Public sector for Steve Boon who was very visionary as to how Local Television and Community Services linked into technology could really deliver several parts that I mention above and so much more...but why has nothing happened when I was seeing this negativity when Steve, myself and others tried to explain this? Is it that people just aren't prepared to open their mind and release that spirit of innovation? I do think that was the case then and that legacy is still being carried on by those people thus infecting the people around with their negative thoughts....

But what is changing......or has changed......

Simple - those negative doubters above have made the change - without realising it....

Those people that have been holding advances back, have actually moved things much faster than they could have known! The have had children and in turn, these children have been introduced to computers, mobile telephones, smart phones and now tablets. The result, is that these people have started playing with technology and developing their thoughts, applications and companies to deliver the technology that they and and their peers are looking for and wanting....

So, with the benefits of the Health Applications like I have outlined above added together with what Beacon technology can deliver plus with Pay too - the question is........

Which path are you are prepared to take?

Are you prepared to actually make your own decision as to how this technology can really help yourself in so many ways that are now being opened up to yourself?

Will you put your signature to signing a new Smart Phone contract and adding yourself to Loyalty programmes too?

Now Loyality and Technology.....that's an insight for another time.....unless you want to connect myself.....
