Description

Writer David Hoppe has spent the past 13 years observing, exhorting and satirizing the Hoosier capital and just published a compilation of his column, Personal Indianapolis (Hawthorne Publishing). Join Indiana Humanities for an INconversation with David Hoppe about a columnist's role in the 21st century, the role of critique in 2014, and how and why things get written.

Marc Allan, who spent 16 years at The Indianapolis Star and is now an adjunct professor of journalism at Butler University, will moderate the conversation.

As always, INconversation is an interactive program with opportunities for audience members to ask questions and join the conversation. Donuts and coffee will be served, and Hoppe's newest book will be for sale following the conversation.
