NARS Audacious Lipstick Collection

French makeup artist Francois Nars is marking the 20th anniversary of his namesake beauty brand with a collection of innovative, pigment-rich lipsticks. The luxurious, long-lasting formula is infused with ingredients known to smooth, moisturize and volumize lips. Micro-sized lipid spheres deliver fuller-looking lips. Tamanu oil locks in moisture and protects against environmental damage. The collection’s 30 shades are named for women who have influenced Francois throughout his career.

Calvin Klein REVEAL

This is Calvin Klein Fragrance’s big launch of 2014 and it is a return to the brands sexy roots. What is special about this scent is they invested in really high quality ingredients and created a scent that is very distinct. I really like it. It uses a raw salt accord that hasn’t been used in fragrance before. It’s modern and chic. If you are looking for an alternative to all the floral gourmand scents on the market, this might be for you.The ad campaign stars Doetzen Kroes and Charlie Hunnam.

MAC A Novel Romance Collection

Romance Novel Heroines are the inspiration for this fall makeup collection. The ads are hilarious – shot like the cover of Harlequin romance novels. What I like about the collection besides its fun theme is the shades are modern and really wearable. The collection is on MAC counters now throughout the month.

MAC Viva Glam Rihanna 2

This is still one of my favourite charitable beauty initiatives. One hundred percent of the selling price of Viva Glam products fund the MAC Aids Fund. And on September 8th, Rihanna’s second Viva Glam shade debuts. It’s a frosted bronze lipstick and bronzed lilac lipglass. Very sophisticated shades and a great cause.

My Burberry fragrance

This is the biggest fragrance launch in the history of Burberry. The entire project was overseen by Christopher Bailey, CEO & Creative Director for Burberry. He calls it a trench coat in a bottle. It’s a grand floral scent with notes you’d smell walking through an English garden after a rain: Centifolia roses, freesia, sweet pea, & germanium. The cap is designed to mimic a button on a Burberry trench coat.

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye + Pure Colour Envy Sculpting Eyeshadow 5-Colour Palette

Of the 1,200 or so new beauty products that launch each year, only a handful survive. Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair was launched in 1982 and it still stands up decades later. I particularly like the eye formula. This month, the brand introduces sleek new eyeshadow palettes that allow you to highlight, illuminate, shape and contour like a pro. Advanced True Vision Technology utilizes pigments and pearls with multi-faceted colour spheres to add the ultimate dimension.

Butter London Brick Lane Collection

UK niche nail brand Butter London launches the perfect nail set for fall. Called “Brick Lane”, the autumn shades of spicy pumpkin, warm aubergine, and sunflower yellow, will take you through the entire season to holiday.

Lancôme Absolue L’Extrait

French beauty brand Lancôme is focusing on its high-end skincare line Absolue L’Extrait this month with two new products: Ultimate Beautifying Lotion and Regenerating & Renewing Ultimate Elixir-Concentrate. The line is described as a master of plant biology featuring Rose native cells, an exclusive biotechnological active ingredient. This is pampering skincare at its best.
