TORONTO – Toronto Maple Leafs’ forward Nazem Kadri was able to dump a bucket of ice on his boss Wednesday.
But he, too, took part in the ice bucket challenge for ALS moments later.
President and CEO of Maple Leafs Sports and Entertainment Tim Leiweke had cold water dumped on his head before challenging Magic Johnson and the Toronto Blue Jays.
He enlisted Toronto FC star Jermain Defo, Toronto Raptors’ Amir Johnson and Kadri to do the deed.

(Kadri also challenged John Van Riemsdyk, Dion Phaneuf and Phil Kessel).
Leiweke and the three athletes committed to donating $6,000 to ALS research as well.
The ice bucket challenge is in support of ALS research and has raised over $14 million since July.
