First look at 245-home residential development

The first images of a 245-home residential development in Devon have been revealed.

The application for reserved matters at the Seabrook Orchards scheme in Exeter was submitted by Savills on behalf of Bloor Homes.

The development is the second phase of a 700-home development which received outline planning permission in October 2013.

Of the 245 homes, 61 are affordable homes to be managed by a Registered Provider.

The images were drawn up by Grainge Architects.

Savills stated: "This application represents the next stage in the delivery of the important Seabrook Orchards development, which provides a key element of the planned growth for Exeter City, through the creation of a sustainable new community.

"The principles of the development have been agreed through the outline planning permission granted in 2013, the allocation of the site for development as part of the Newcourt Masterplan area in the Exeter Core Strategy and the approval of phase one."
