Aliquippa police have arrested the boyfriend of a woman who was found dead at her home Friday after his son turned him in to authorities.James Turner, 58, of Aliquippa, was expected to be charged with criminal homicide in the death of Patricia Thompson, 53."He just walked in the station. He was brought in to the station" by his son, Police Chief Don Couch said.Yellow crime scene tape and police vehicles surrounded Thompson's home in the 400 block of Adams Street after one of her daughters found her body about 3:30 p.m."She was my sister and she was a good person. She had a good heart. She would give you the shirt off her back. That's why I can't understand why something like this could happen in her own home," said the victim's brother, Jimmy Lay.Couch said the cause of death was not obvious, and investigators are awaiting the results of an autopsy.Family members who were with the victim at a local bar Thursday night said she was dropped off about 1:30 a.m. Friday. Her green Cadillac was found on Route 65 after it ran out of gas and was abandoned. It was not immediately clear who took the vehicle.Lay said his sister, who was born and raised in Aliquippa, was divorced from her husband and is survived by four children. He said she was a nurse's aide, but she hadn't worked in several years since being diagnosed with lupus."You didn't have to take nothing from her. She would give it to you, anything you ask for. You could just walk in and say, 'Oh, I like that,' and she would say, 'Take it.' She was that kind of person," Lay said.
