Community Members Work Together in Norwegian Creek Restoration Efforts
Volunteers and various stakeholders worked together to build beaver dams to slow stream flow and subsequent erosion. Read more about these simple restoration techniques and examples of community collaboration in the Madison Watershed.

Man-Made Wetland Systems Incorporated into City Planning
Man-made wetlands receive greater attention as an economical water treatment option. Plant life and microbes filter out high levels of nitrogen and phosphorus in these wetland systems. 

Federal and State Government Partnering to Reduce the Effects of Drought in Montana

Under a demonstration project that is the first of its kind in the nation, federal, state and local agencies will partner to improve drought resiliency in one of Montana’s major watersheds, Gov. Steve Bullock announced last week.
