TSheets Increases Billable Time with QBO Integration

TSheets, a developer of time tracking software, today announced a deeper integration with Intuit’s QuickBooks Online designed to deliver accurate payroll and invoicing – without the manual entry. Customers will now be able track billable time against customers, services, employees and more, as well as easily review, edit and approve time straight from within QuickBooks Online. Customers will also have access to accurate, detailed reports on employee hours that will provide invaluable real-time insights for accounting professionals and their clients.

Mariann Bottiani, owner of Chaos to Calm Productivity Solutions and QuickBooks ProAdvisor, has been using this latest integration between TSheets time tracking and QuickBooks Online to streamline her HVAC client’s invoicing process, resulting in a 6 percent increase of billable time.

Fatigued by the tedious procedure of processing stacks of paper timesheets and manually inputting data into one HVAC client’s QuickBooks Online account, Bottiani became a beta tester of TSheets’ mobile, automated timesheets, which are accessible within the QuickBooks Online account she uses to process invoices and payroll. Immediately following the application of the new system, Bottiani gained valuable insight into her client’s business and could instantly see 26 percent of their time was spent on non-billable hours. With that figure in mind, Bottiani collaborated with her client to reduce non-billable hours down to 20 percent, in an effort to further help her client’s HVAC company succeed.

“We tried using employee time tracking software that didn’t integrate with QuickBooks Online, but it was clunky and inefficient,” said Bottiani. “There were a lot of steps involved in getting the time data from here to there, and that was frustrating for a lot of the workers. The QuickBooks Online integration has definitely sped up our billing and payroll process. My client loves the new system. It’s convenient, and it makes us all more accurate and more productive.”

“Our goal is to equip accountants, like Mariann, with the tools to help grow their businesses and become the advisor their clients need to create efficiencies in their daily lives and maximize their overall profits. We couldn’t be more excited to advance the TSheets + QuickBooks Online experience, and work closely with the QuickBooks ProAdvisors, to accomplish this. It’s the trifecta of solution providers who have come together and continue to innovate with the shared goal of helping small business owners succeed.” commented Kyle Jenke, TSheets’ SVP of platform and global business development.

“Intuit and TSheets share a vision to help accounting professionals save time and automate manual processes so they can focus on the value they bring as true strategic advisors to their small business clients,” said Rich Preece, leader of Intuit’s Accountant Segment, Small Business Group. “We will continue to work with the best developers and products accounting professionals already use – such as TSheets – to deliver seamless experiences that empower their long term success.”

Customers can try TSheets and experience this seamless integration with QuickBooks Online free for 14 days. After the free trial period, TSheets is available for a base fee of $16 per month and an additional $4 per user, per month.
