Tomato Trio Framed Canvas Print
When it comes to tomatoes I can never have enough of them. I have planted various varieties in my garden and every now and then when there is an abundance this lovely fruit is used to make all sorts of dishes. Tomatoes are used in tomato salads, fresh pasta sauce, as roasted tomatoes and of course as a models for paintings :) .
The "Tomato Trio" is a juxtaposition of the super glossy and shiny skin of tomatoes against a rough, highly textured backdrop. I even found a super cool frame via Fine Art America that I think will go great with this painting. Here are some close-up shots:
