You won't have to miss out on the IPL action just because you're on a flight. Starting March, Vistara will become the first Indian airline to offer in-flight WiFi. Here's what we know so far:
Vistara's in-flight service is likely to start sometime towards the end of March 2020
It will be offered on some flights on select routes: primarily on long-haul flights served by the 787 Dreamliners that are set to arrive this month, and the Airbus SE A321 that are also expected later this year. Domestic routes served by these aircraft will get WiFi service too.
As per reports, it will be a full-access broadband service, which means you can stream content and make voice and video calls up in the air.
Vistara hasn't announced the pricing for its in-flight WiFi yet.
