Police find Tioga-Nicetown shooting victim at hospital

Police called to the scene of a shooting in Tioga-Nicetown arrived to find that the victim had already left.

TIOGA-NICETOWN (WPVI) -- Police called to the scene of a shooting in Tioga-Nicetown arrived to find that the victim had already left.

It happened shortly after 10:00 p.m. along the 1700 block of West Bristol Street.

Arriving officers found blood and several shell casings at the scene but no victim.

After surveying local hospitals, police learned the male victim, who was shot twice in the arm, had been driven to Temple University Hospital. No word on his condition.

Police are still investigating.
