MSI Teases TwinFrozr V Cooling Solution

MSI has teased the first CGI renderings of their next-generation TwinFrozr V cooling solution that will be used on the upcoming GeForce GTX 980 and GTX 970 graphics cards as well as other high-end graphics cards under its Gaming Series.

The cooler itself features a large dual-stack aluminum fin heatsink array with five 8 mm thick nickel-plated copper heatpipes. The cooling system makes use of what seems to be dual 100 mm fans. MSI is said to be innovating a new impeller design that helps with the air-flow to noise ratio.

Taking a closer look at the rendering it shows a PCB with two NVIDIA SLI bridge fingers and two 6pin PCI-Express inputs. We are going to just assume this is the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980, that would make the card shown here the MSI GTX 980 Gaming OC? I guess we will have to wait till the 19th of September to find out.
