igottadrive.com Review & $50 AMEX Giveaway

This review and giveaway was made possible by Double Duty Divas and igottadrive.com. I was compensated for my participation in this campaign, but all opinions are 100% mine.
When the time comes for your teenager to take a driver's education class there are so many options available it's liable to make your head spin. Many have good reviews, but for my teenage son Angel and eventually my daughter Kaylen, I want a class that's better then good. So when I was introduced to igottadrive.com they immediately had my attention. Here is a short video with a brief explanation of what they offer.

The driver's ed course isn't like most because they use a different method of teaching. They take your child on a virtual road trip across the country giving them information in a fun and easy way to remember. I was also impressed how much they emphasize on being a safe driver. They also have a section called Fun Facts About Driving, I liked the Five Things You Don't Want to See in a Car. The five things are, in no particular order, Talking on the phone, texting, drinking & driving, applying make-up and eating. Most teens don't think a couple of these are a big deal but as a new driver they can be distracting and can easily cause an accident.

Throughout the course students are rewarded with a virtual postcard for completing a section. They can show off their accomplishments with their friends and family through social media. I know my kids like positive rewards like this, it makes them feel like they are getting one step closer to being finished. Anytime I had a question or concern I could look through their FAQ's section or better yet look at their video library of driving tips. So the video on parallel parking was remarkably helpful for me, yes me! I have been driving for almost 17 years and I never could figure out how to parallel park until now. So parents you may want to keep an eye out for some parts of the course that can be helpful even for you.
