BÖ by MANSOURI is a collection of handcrafted wooden bow ties that are forged by a genuine passion for innovative design. This Vancouver based company was founded in 2013 by father and son duo Mehran and Sam Mansouri. The two founders combined their shared respect for sustainable practices with Mehran’s background in architecture to create a new and modern interpretation of the bow tie.
All wood used in their bow ties is sourced from end-mills (cut-offs) of wood processing facilities across North America. In addition to reclaimed wood they use soft leather offcuts sourced in Israel, which are cut into uniform strips to create the BÖ tie neck straps. With these and their other practices, BÖ by MANSOURI implements their main design philosophy of creating a distinct expression of style from sustainable materials.
