Devin Bonilla, a 14-year-old boy living with autism, was reunited with his family Friday evening. "I don't want to be upset because it's never happened before," said Tanisha Bonilla, Devin's mom. But she says she has a lot of questions. Tanisha Bonilla said her son has the mind of a 6-year-old. He lives with autism and anxiety. He was dropped off alone from his day school at Mon Valley by a First Student bus driver. " I was en route to being home and I was coming around the same time they normally come," Tanisha said. "I guess they came a little bit early today and they just let him off the bus."Devin wandered off, down the hill and was missing for about two hours, police said. A giant search effort was underway when a driver called in with a tip, spotting Devin about a mile and a half from his house. Police found him near Vincent's Pizza Park. His mother had the opportunity to thank the East Pittsburgh officer who brought him home safely. "I thanked the other officers who were there with me keeping me calm and just letting me know everything was going to be OK," Tanisha said. "The police chief came out, the head of the fire department came and was here the whole time."
