AUBURN, Alabama -- The months melted into weeks and now there are only five days separating Auburn from its season opener against Arkansas.
Game week is finally here on the Plains, where No. 6 Auburn will begin a quest for a national championship Saturday at 3 p.m. You can check out our Week 1 coverage, which began Sunday, here.
It's a big week, but before you get your work week underway, check out these seven stories you may have missed last week:
- Auburn worked through a "dress rehearsal" Saturday inside Jordan-Hare Stadium
- It's not all about football at Auburn.
- Pearl also picked up commitments from a pair of four-star forwards
- The passing game has "developed the way you'd hope" under Nick Marshall
- Gabe Wright is probably Auburn's best defensive lineman, and he has unfinished business
- "Nobody has figured this offense out" at Auburn because it's in Gus Malzahn's mind
- Malzahn thanks Houston Nutt nearly eight years following a not-so-pleasant ending at Arkansas
