When I first got the call stating my niece would be celebrating her Sweet Sixteenth Birthday Party in Fort Mitchell, AL I knew without a doubt I had to be there, and I also knew the 2017 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring was the perfect vehicle to get me there! Right I was Indeed!
Originally I was schedule to depart South Florida for Fort Mitchell Alabama at 5am but because I hadn't even packed my bag yet and still had to stop at the bank, pick up my cousin, get my morning coffee, and more, I didn't manage to hit the open road until around 7:30am.
It didn't take me long at all to realize I hit the jackpot with the CX-5 Mazda Touring. I'm no car expert but I could immediately feel I was traveling in style and felt totally at ease behind the wheel!
My very first Mazda experience happened in this pretty amazing Crystal White Pearl color. Cute right! Although it's considered a small SUV I totally felt like I was driving in a car. It was super easy to maneuver and the 33 MPG highway mileage was pure perfection.
The inside of the Mazda CX-5 was just as impressive. It comfortably seats 5 and comes complete with a push button start, dual zone climate control, power moonroof, illuminated vanity mirrors, 7 inch color touch screen display, rearview camera, HD radio and so much more!

After what will go down as the best road trip of my life we reached fort Mitchell at about 5pm and spent the rest of Friday night enjoying the family with good food, drinks, karaoke and laughs. Fun times for sure but when Saturday rolled around we knew it was time to party. Seeing my niece so happy and surrounded by those she loves the most was nothing short of amazing. We danced, took tons of pics, and celebrated like never before. Needless to say it was a super cold 33degrees while a majority of this was going down but thanks to the Mazda CX-5 we never felt a bit of it!

After celebrating all the birthday fun we spent a majority of Sunday morning recuperating. By the time we all got into the swing of things it was time to party yet once again as we cheered on the Superbowl participants the Atlanta Falcons as they took on the New England Patriots. One moment we were all discussing what day of the week Atlanta would be having the Superbowl parade to sitting in awe as we watched the championship slip away. At this point it seemed I had little to look forward to but secretly I couldn't wait to get my Mazda back on the open road for another fantastic road trip back to Sunny South Florida, Home!
The ride home was just as amazing as going up and immediately I knew from this point on as long as I'd be able to travel in the Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring, Road Tripping would totally be my thing. I even shed a thug tear as the guys from DriveShop came to pick it up. Don't be surprised if I announce myself as the new owner of the CX-5 in the near future. It's only right that when something obviously and generously Loves you that you in return Love It Right Back.
