We’re excited to announce the launch of Magic Rating, our newest platform to help your aesthetic practice generate more reviews from patients!
We all know that online reviews are tough to get. I’ve written several articles in the past with different tips and ideas, including thank you cards, QR codes, and more. We’ve even tried tablet-based apps that mask IP addresses, but with little luck.
So how does Magic Rating work? We offer two modes, email or kiosk mode. Email mode works just like an other email marketing campaign you’d run. You simply upload your list and the software sends out an email to all your patients asking for feedback and a 1 to 10 rating (10 being the highest). Patients who give you 8 or above will receive a follow up ‘thank you’ email asking them to kindly publish this review on Real Self, Google+ or Yelp.
Patients who leave you anything less than 8 stars will receive a different follow-up email that does not ask for a published review. Instead, your response would say something like “We’re sorry you didn’t have the optimal experience…” You’ll want to reach out to these patients to see if you can address their concerns and potentially avoid a negative review online.
Kiosk mode works similarly to email mode, except the initial feedback is done via tablet or laptop in the office. Think of this as your outtake process, and it should done when the patient is happiest. Since you’re getting the patient when they’re happiest you’re more likely to get positive feedback, which in turn may result in a review. Just like with email mode, any negative feedback can be addressed immediately.
You can also utilize the Magic Rating’s testimonial widget to display your feedback, even if this hasn’t translated into reviews. The manual control even allows you to display reviews based on star rating.
The Magic Rating platform comes with a dashboard for you to monitor activity. You’ll see how many responses you’re getting, along with how many reviews that turns into.
