The 2014 women's soccer season kicks off on Friday, highlighted by a matchup of 2011 champion and current No. 6 Stanford against 2012 champion and current No. 4 North Carolina at Fetzer Field in Chapel Hill.
UCLA won the 2013 championship by beating Florida State 1-0 in extra time last December. This year's College Cup will be in Boca Raton, Fla., with the semifinals on Dec. 5 and the championship match on Dec. 7
