Now here's a bathroom Willy Wonka would approve of: It's made entirely of chocolate. UK-based companies Bathrooms.com and Choccywoccydoodah have teamed up to offer bathroom fixtures made entirely of chocolate. For £80,000 (approximately $133,000), you can purchase the "Maderno Sweet," which features a chocolate bidet, basin, bath, and toilet. The suite contains 9.4 million calories, is made of 50 kg of Belgian chocolate, and takes 2-3 months delivery time. If kept at room temperature, the bathroom pieces can last for six months.
The whole idea for a chocolate bathroom was born when the CEO of Bathrooms.com, Ian Monk, and his team realized that over a million British people were misspelling "suites" and searching for "bathroom sweets" on the Internet. "That simple mistake caught our imagination, what if we created a bathrooms suite, out of something sweet?" he writes on the site. And if you were thinking of actually using the "bathroom sweet," stop right there. Monk advises against it because the bathroom will melt (of course).
