At least three territorial zones containing debris from the Malaysian Boeing passenger jet remain uninvestigated at the plane's crash site in the Donetsk region, said a spokesperson for the Ukrainian Ministry for Regional Policies and Infrastructure, who cited the state commission for inquiry into the Malaysia Airlines' Boeing 777 crash.

“Experts have stressed that at least three territorial zones containing debris remain uninvestigated,” the spokesperson said on Aug. 8.

Ukraine will resume the ceasefire within a 20-kilometer zone around the air crash site as soon it receives a request from the international inquiry group, the spokesperson said.

It was reported earlier that a group of international experts had decided to stop the first phase of the search for debris and the remains of Boeing 777 passengers because of the deadly risks to its members working at the scene.
