AUSTIN, Texas –  True freshman Brock Batty was stellar in relief for the 18th-ranked UL baseball team against the 14th-ranked Texas Longhorns as the left-hander guided the Ragin' Cajuns to a 2-1 win in the series finale on Sunday at UFCU Disch-Falk Field.

Batty came in on short notice due to an early exit for starter Hogan Harris and tossed 6.0 strong innings in relief limiting the Longhorns (2-1) to one run on two hits. The Denham Springs native retired nine straight batters in the game to pick up his first collegiate victory in his UL debut.
